Our Instructors

  • Ashley Lowe

    Ashley Lowe

    ARTISTIC AND INSTRUCTIONAL DIRECTOR

Ashley is a professional dancer that has been dancing for most of her life. Growing up she was involved in traveling praise dance groups, dance companies, and college dance productions. She’s studied with premiere instructors like Donna Krasnow, Paula Thompson, Bethana Rosenthal, Evan Rosenblatt, and Brigette Dunn Korpela.

Ashley has participated in social media challenges (was even recognized by Missy Elliott!) and has used her gift as a form of activism to support causes close to her heart like BLM. Recently, she started teaching at Christian Performing Arts Center in Northridge and is now stepping out in faith to open A.I.M., a place for artists of all types to fully express their gifts!

  • Nicole Harris Johnson

    Nicole Harris Johnson

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND INSTRUCTOR

Nicole is a lawyer by day, but her true passion is dance. She’s been dancing most of her life, starting as a young girl and continuing through college at the University of California at Berkeley. She’s performed in dance ensembles and is currently leading the WHIM Praise Dance Team for her church.

Nicole most enjoys teaching contemporary dance styles, like lyrical, modern and interpretive dance. But no matter the genre, she’s looking forward to pouring confidence, encouragement and support into every artist and student who attends A.I.M.

  • Sydney Humphrey

    INSTRUCTOR

Sydney has been on competitive dance teams since she was 11 and was even a part of a high school dance team that won a state championship! She loves to choreograph and has created two solo routines for herself and competed with them. She’s assisted multiple dance teachers and even taught some classes on her own for fun. She can’t wait to bring all she knows to AbunDance in Movement!
